Audi servicing on re-mapped cars

Going back to Audi for next two services having done the last two myself.
2.0 ltr tdi that was remapped last year. My question is will the new map be safe?

Out of curiosity why are you taking it to them for servicing? You will be paying well over the odds!

They will flag it on diagnostic as tuned usually & wont touch it is the official word on any updates, whether they've changed there mind again, who knows, they will service it, but again why would you use them.

Not really much of a mechanic bar the ability to do the service essentials. Air/pollen/oil filter, oil drain. Starting new job soon with 40 miles a day journey and just thought it would be good to get it done by them.

Tbh mate, there would be no difference at all, placebo I'd say, just do yourself, save money on an identical job.

Do the fuel filter too, make sure you get the correct one as there are 2 types, its easy enough to swap.

Also, do an injector flush with this:

Liqui Moly Diesel Purge Amazon product

Google diesel purge bkd, you'll find its easy enough, grab a clear bottle or glass bottle, some clear tubing, small inline filter halfords or Amazon, run the tin through the engine at varied revs, will take about 45 minutes or so, I do this once in a while, seems to clean help.
