Seems a little quiet in here - so thought i’d do a proper intro!
Back in March i decided to accept a new job - which would mean 75miles in a daily commute…. My current M4competition wouldnt be suitable as a daily through country lanes - and it wouldnt be able to do 375miles to a tank which means mid week fill ups… so decided an S5 would with quattro and better mpg would be a better idea - and on paper could mean weekend fill ups of fuel.
After a couple of months looking nationally across the AUC network - found the spec i wanted - (vision and light, comfort access, memory seats, tour pack) - and even better was at a dealer less than 20 miles away.
Surprisingly coming from an M4 i didnt miss the lack of power - as aside from a bit of driving dynamics was a decent compromise of comfort and power… although due to the fuel tank on the smaller side i do have to take it easy to make sure i do
But wasnt long before i had to do a few mods…
First up was a pcw exhaust mod.
Then some cosmetics- not a fan of the front chrome - so fitted an RS grill and wrapped the front chrome bits:

next up for the rear dechrome - fitted a maxton gloss black rear diffuser - which with the comfort access was more hassle than it looke

Next up with for some interior light mods:

boot light was a bit dull:

and with the wet weather encountered possibly the worst boot design on a modern car - open the boot lid causes water to fall into the boot…. So had to stop that too:
extra bit P shape seal:

Still on the look out for some carbon atlas trim, and storage pack lower dash and then i think i’ll be done!
