Hi guys new here so not sure of this is the right place to post sorry if not. Just looking for any info or tips of anyone here has had the same issues.
I bought the car Friday it drove ok no obvious knocking or banging and dash was clear. after the 73 mile trip home the GP light started to flash, then then esp and eml light came on, car went into limp mode and maxes out at 3000rpm. When I bought the car i was told it had been mapped and had egr/dpf deleted but im still getting codes for the egr?? Ive read a few threads on here and a lot of people are suggesting it could be brake pedal switch, funnily enough my brake lights are on constantly also.
Im not a mechanic and dont really have a clue where to start. Will be getting it booked into a garage asap just want to try get an idea of what it maybe, im hoping just a cheap sensor job.
