Tracking our new RS3?

I’ve Not disappeared just extremely disappointed with Audi
Not the cars
It was a long battle from august 13th to just yesterday only to be promised this that and the other and getting nothing
Initially a carbon but couldn’t get it in mythos
Which they can now get
Then Asked for the first LE which was promised until last week to which they told me
You can have it when we’re done with it with 1500 miles on it and lots of bums on seats and ragged to an inch of its life kemora sport back
No thanks
Deposit back in bank just yesterday
Thanks for the ****
But I’m still here and read every post
So I’m watching
Have my beady eyes on you lot
Will stick with my very nice A7 for now

Lol yes there is some irony as @T-1000 says ...... you committed to 13 (months on threads) and were No.1 on the list in the UK and it all went to $hi7 :tearsofjoy:

If you can get a mythos car now though why not just let your order follow through with one & wait it out a bit longer ?

Good to hear you are still around though - you were the founder of the RS3 8y forum section ;)

Presuming you have decided to go for the 8Y now or hold a while till the Facelift ? Anyhow now may be the best time to sell the max price.

I will let them roll out and decide when I get a good look at 1
Has to be the spec I want unfortunately they just don’t do it yet so will wait and see

Glad to have started this thread and least I got the 1st 8y rs3 post on here even if I didn’t get the car itself

Maybe I've lost the plot but decided yesterday to wait for my original order - to get what I want. Hopefully I'll get some news about it soon.
Will probably regret the decision when I see others on the road before mine, but oh well :tearsofjoy:

I don't think you'll regret getting the spec that you originally wanted (minus the phone box and 360 camera...), I think the biggest killer will be the wait now!

Well guys, off to the dealer shortly! In regards to my original Vorsprung w/ dynamic pack order, dealer said that it has a build week within the first half of December so may start to see more cars come through a lot sooner!

Main problem with with spec for me was the full leather interior, I've specced the dynamica microfibre or whatever its called. Phone box I can live without and 360 cameras noone is having.
That plus the fact I wouldn't be able to get it booked in for ppf soon enough which I'd really want to get done ASAP - it'd get battered with stone chips on my local roads with the miles I do, especially in Winter.

Mate at the end of the day if you can afford to wait but as l said it's just another shade of blue but what l didn't say was l found great pride in having an exclusive paint on my S3 Saloon until a few f@@kers on here copied me actually saw one of them on the M8 going glasgow he gave me the thumbs-up and l gave him the

6% price increase remember l think once the hype has subsided ie in 6 months time you'll get e better deal on one but at heart your a RS Anorak....lol thing is to go up the RS ladder your not gaining much performance wise RS4/RS5 just a jump in quality of materials used in the cabin I'll think there is a car coming to the market that will at least equal the RS3 8Y and THAT is the new M2 of which will have at least 400 ponies Xdrive and a better cabin....but that's due out early 2023

Don't worry - if the brakes are like the last RS3 I will need to pressure wash them once a week to stop the brake squeal so that will blast off the brake dust from the alloys :) :tearsofjoy:

Told by dealers or brokers to be honest they're not far off the mark....all dealers have been advised to state the worst case scenario to cover themselves

I think the new M2 will be epic. Even more so if they Chuck the xdrive like M3/M5

Just winding you up mate. Completely agree, why settle when you are shelling out £60k+, and in your case potentially more. A real shame you had a cr*p experience and couldn’t get a LE or the spec, but will settle down at some point. But in the meantime with the A7 a very solidly built car

I'll just correct that for you, should read
all dealers have been advised to tell what ever story or rumour they can come up with to cover themselves

I've had a couple of demo's in an M2, original M2 was horrible on corner exit it felt as if it went up on tip toes, M2 Competition much better at the rear, that felt as if it rolled slightly, took it's 'set' and dug in, but both hopeless in less than ideal conditions
