I have an automatic 2019 Audi A3.

Sometimes when my right foot lifts off the accelerator to press down on the brake pedal, it hits the side
of the brake pedal instead of rising cleanly above it. This has caused my braking to be slightly delayed at times.
Now I tend to brake well ahead of when I need to stop, to guarantee that I am on the brake pedal.

Can the brake pedal height be adjusted (by an Audi dealer) i.e. lowered slightly?

Thanks,

bern

I've checked what pictures I can see in Elsawin & it looks like a fixed length push rod from the servo to brake pedal with no clevis type for the fixture at the pedal, just being a ball & socket design.

Simple answer is no, you can't adjust the brake pedal height.

However, I'm sure if you were determined anything is possible ;)

with that new info you can prob jerry-rig some spacers in there to push the whole unit back a little. but remember that if you have less travel before it hits the ground, when the unit fails you won't have the extra space that would have been there to stop in an emergency.

if you do end up doing it, i am interested in seeing this mod happen. i to feel that it's too high as well. it would be nice to have it lowered about an inch for me.
i enjoy seeing modifications like this that's out of the norm and when they work its exciting.

Maybe there's an option to adjust the accelerator pedal instead?
