I have a B9 Saloon, looking to get black edition parts such as Grille and Window Trims... can we buy these things new or would I have to wait until a crashed car comes along I can get parts from?

I know wrapping and painting exists but I'd prefer genuine parts as there likely to last longer.

Thanks in advance!

I got a black edition grille off eBay for £160. I don't think the window trims are easily removable. I got mine wrapped by a wrap shop.

What's your thoughts on wrapping the window trim... as there not in the firing line for stones I imagine they hold up ok?

My wrapped window trims have held up well for the last year, did them myself for around £40 all in.

Granted I’m no professional vinyl/wrap person however it is very doable and should last pretty well.

I used 3M 2080 film from eBay, matches the gloss parts of the window trim pretty well.

I’m also trying to decide whether to get hold of a genuine BE grill or go the RS4 style route.

Hmmm decisions..!

The vinyl has held up well. The installer used 2080 3M Gloss Black. I wasted £60 by trying to do it myself. Also got the chrome strip above the diffuser wrapped.

I think the diffuser is also darker on the black edition. I didn't get that wrapped or sprayed, but wished that I had.

Also got the side bits next to the grille wrapped.

RS would look mint... but BE or maybe even S would look just as good.

I hot mine wrapped by a company and changed the front grill my self (bumper off job) and changed the back badge to carbon fiber. This they badge was less that £10 on ebay.

I also got my rear lights tinted too and planning on dining my front ones in time.

I have also sprayed my OME front grill that's sitting in my hut lol
