FAULT CODES.....
I Keep having fault codes reoccuring . putting car into a limp or reduced power mode. i have changed all the units . but has anyone had this issue with their a4 b7 2.0 bul tfsi
EVAP PURGE CONTROL N80 CIRCUIT OPEN INTERMITTANT P0444 - 004
TURBO BYPASS VCC P003-004
SOLENOID FOR BOOST CONTROL PO243 MALFUNCTION
FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE N276 P2294 OPEN CIRCUIT

THESE ARE RE OCCURING and random also
i have forge recirc valve so that cures that system for a while . but every now and then it works for a while and behaves . then on start up it just bangs on full engine limp mode HELP.. I think it may well be wiring faults . but i cant find a decent set of wiring diagrams to trace the fauls

I've seen that before.
Do you have random starting problems before the dash EML comes on, then it will clear after a few restarts, be fine for few days then back again, getting more frequent aswell.

anything like this.

vcds scan log.

I can tell you exactly what the cause is as i spent months trying to solve it and wasted a lot of money in the process.

you need to replace both relays in the ecu box, they are a revised parts now .
the factory parts were both 614 , but thats now 644

Relays 2 and 3

I replaced no3 which pretty solved it , but then had several total non starting session until i replaced the other.
been spot on ever since with none of the errors or EML's
Ecu3

By the way, getting into them is a right pain in the backside too, but after 4 times it becomes slightly easier.

thanks i will get some ordered ... new turbo should be done soon so. ill get her running right then pull the motor and make it better :)... 83mm wossnor pistons . pec rods etc etc etc.. thanks Rob

And you right rob what a fit of a job greeting the ecu cover off . Dread to think how it’s going back on when I get the relays

The accepted method is to remove the wipers completely , pull the rain deflector off from the bottom of the windscreen.
You then get better access to the rear ecu box screws and getting better access to the ecu box, the down side is that getting the wipers off doesn't always workout easy , and the rain deflector can break .

still got a recurring fault code..
boost pressure control valve (n249)
p2261 008 mechanical malfunction intermittant
.
going to check conections etc and boost leaks
i must say car is going so well . but concerned its not going to get fixed ..

Probably safe to say you've solved the initial problems that were electrical in your first post, looks like you now also have a separate issue with another component now, your getting there.

Check the hose connections on it are ok, also wiring, failing that just get a new one as they are prone to go and not expensive.

I’ve got a forge recirc one on atm but I’m going to rehouse everything and check connections . I’m moving forward ... been a long road . Hopefully turbo and bits ready to do engine refresh Then remap . Any recommendations near Northamptonshire . I am will to travel !!

Just repiped the forge valve and wow what a difference . Just done a few miles and no fault codes ... happy now but I’m defo going to need a clutch when I do the engine refresh
