Hey, just found a good offer for a complete set of PFL led headlights and was thinking of doing the retrofit.
But I saw that some of the threads say that there is not much of a difference in the light intensity between xenon and Led for Pre Facelift cars.
Is there anyone that can confirm this statement?
I have to mention that my xenon headlights are terrible, especially the left one, and I really need to do something about this, so was thinking that instead of having them reconditioned, I should be better off by upgrading to Full Led.
Thanks very much in advance for your inputs!

The car was crashed, after that the previous owner installed used headlights. Thus, the right one jiggles, but has reasonable intensity, but the left one is simply blind. I tried a few bulbs, currently on Philips xtreme, but not much of a difference. I don’t want to change the car, it has a low odometer, and is a 2l turbo petrol. So I must do something about it

Well I'd remove the headlight's & find out whats causing the movement either mounting points or internal parts broken or loose.

When you say blind, as in doesnt work at all or just bad visibility as could be lense, module etc, simply swapping headlights may not resolve the issue until you fully test.

blind as in bad visibility, i can that the lens is a bit hazy. the cost of reconditioning is about 300 euros, and upgrading to full led is about 1000 euros. If I would be absolutely sure that the Leds are better i would definetly upgrade

300 vs 1000, kinda no brainer.

You can take into account buying the led using for perhaps 3 or 4 years which I did on my tt then sold car re fitted original and still got my money back .
