Evening!

OSR door won't open under any circumstances - tried all the tricks and suggestions on here and elsewhere - no go. I've removed the door card from the inside (now, there's a tale!) - both cables from inside and outside handles are connected but neither will release the door.

So, my question is; how to manually open the door? I've got access to the mechanism, but cannot locate any part to pull/push/hit to get it to manually release.

All ideas welcome!!

Good job for getting the interior trim off. Working on the back seat must have been as tight as a gnat's chuff.

I'd have thought you should be able to pull the cable. Not the interior door handle unless the cable has detached? Looks like it's the door lock actuator. You need the part number once you get to that stage, as there's a couple of options from what I understand.

This is extreme, he's as rough as a badger.

Once you get door open.

Yeas, getting the card off was a game, but you can access the bottom torx fixing by removing the rear seat squab - easier than you think!

Now I've just got to try and get the door open so I can either refurbish or replace the lock. I don't fancy the dremmel approach! I think the lock is stuck in its deadlock position.
