a3 8v 1.8 intake manifold

Hello new here and trying to take my intake manifold off my 2015 Audi a3 1.8t. I have followed the instructions on the service repair manual but it still will not budge. Anybody know of a DIY guide or have done this before? I am taking it off because I have a runner position fault in the intake manifold and want to see if the sensor needs to be cleaned. Dealer tech quoted me a whole new intake for $1200 and I can get a new revised version for about 300.
