P1564 code Audi S3 8p

Evening all,
I have purchased an Audi S3 2008 a few weeks ago shortly after purchasing it I got EML on with no Running Issues. I got it Scanned and code P1564. When the garage scanned it and tried to reset throttle body, it couldn’t be completed. Does any one have any experience with this? Or do I need a new throttle body?

Can you get a specialist to scan it - with software like VCDS.

I had it scanned by a specialist with VCDS And that it wouldn’t run Basic settings using VCDS.

Was it genuine VCDS? The software is free the cable is the costly part - cheap ebay cables can do some basic checks.

With VCDS you’ll be able to recalibrate (adaptation). What’s your battery condition like?

Yeah it was a genuine VCDS, think they said it wouldn’t run adaptation. Battery is good. Don’t know wether to change throttle body. Car Is Stage 2+
