Evening All,
I purchased a New Shape A1 4 months ago and it didn't come with an armrest so I decided to order all the parts and retro fit it myself.
Here's a quick quide.
Remove rear holder using a trim removal tool.
This exposes 4 bolt threads that are welded to the chassis of the car, two of which have nuts on which secure the centre console trim down. Remove the two nuts with a 10mm socket or spanner. You'll need this two nuts and an extra two nuts in order to fit the armrest bracket in place.
Place armrest into onto the 4 bolt threads that protrude the chassis and tighten the 4 nuts onto this bolt threads with a 10mm socket or spanner.
Finally clip rear trim on top back of armrest. The picture below actually shows me remove it.
