S3 8L AMK rattle noise

Hi, everyone! I have a rattling noise in my S3 8L
It happens when the car has warmed up. It also rattles when you start it up (warmed up).
There's also a quick rattling noise when I accelerate, happens around 2k rpm.

Does anyone have an idea what it is? Thanks in advanced!

Have you checked for fault codes at all?

It kinda sounds like the VVT chain tensioner to me especially as you say it happens around 2k rpm

I'd be taking the cam cover off and having a look to see if there are wear marks from the chain flapping about and if the tensioner pads are in one piece...

I wouldn't advise running the engine until you have had a look tbh
