Concert head unit won't save safe made

So this is probably yet another safe code thread but I can't seem to find any with my issue. Every time I start the car I have to input the safe code on the concert head unit , it just doesn't seem to save the code I have checked fuses is there anything else I should be looking at or is the unit on its way out ? Any help would be appreciated :)
 
It's possibly not getting the can signal to recognise which car, vin no it's installed into.
 
Check the wiring to the unit, is it a new car to you or fault just started?
 
OK I'll check the wiring first when I brought the car around a month ago the stereo was already in safe mode because of the battery being disconnected , to witch I had to obtain the safe code using the serial number on the back of the unit it works just won't store it it's so annoying lol
