Hi, I am new to the site and just working my around, so apologies as I am sure this will have been covered somewhere.

My car has a factory fitted dash mounted cradle for a phone and I am wondering if their is an adaptor available for an IPhone 5. I have managed to pair my phone to the MMI but I get a message saying insert SIM card. So , I am working on the basis that I have to use the cradle . Any ideas or work around?

Thanks for your response, that is very interesting. Would you be able to let me know how you went about getting it to work. I would much rather not buy a cradle.
 
I have managed to connect my iPhone 5 to my A4/b6 cab by Bluetooth, while phone works my contacts have not migrated across. Any ideas how I can fix this?
