I'm hoping someone can assist.

I'm tempted to oil service my B9 inbetween Audi services. I'd use an extraction pump and replace with a genuine Audi filter to keep it a quick and cheap service to maintain the motor.

I have located the dipstick hole but the oil filter is located on the side of the engine bay between the block/head and coolant expansion tank. It looks a tight fit where the tank may need to be removed.

All the videos online show the filter front and center.

Has anyone done their own service and have some advice? I'll grab a photo later when I'm with the car.

Thanks :)

Here is the engine bay and engine filter.

I've downloaded the ERWIN guides and found out how to do this for anyone else wondering.

You need to shift over the coolant expansion tank to carry this out. The electrical connector should be disconnected but he plumbing can remain.

Happy Servicing.
