3G+ hidden green menu

Can someone confirm that you need vcds to enable this menu on the A1? Apparently can activate this on an A4 with Carista, but A1s software doesn’t give that option?

you can do it on the a4 & a5 using this script on a memory card

Copy the contents from the Green Menu Activation.zip to an empty SD card smaller than 32GB in size, formatted in FAT32 file system. In the root folder of the SD card you should see the following files and directories:

Insert in the MMI SD slot 1, shortly after that you will see the following picture.

Press the big rotary knob and the next screen will appear.

Now restart the unit
 
It’s ok, I’ve managed to do the update without the green menu( that was only an option to remove the maps anyway).. all working ok!

Does this work for a a6 c6 2011? What mmi is it for?
