B7 2.0tdi brd 170 running problem

Hi guys .
This is my first ever post on this site so be gentle with me ...
Im the proud owner of a black b7 2.0tdi quattro 170 (BRD) and i have a small running concern ,ive owend the car for about 3-4months now and ive noticed it has a stutter on light throttle .
If im driving slow and let of the throttle then reapply it the car has a sort of stutter its not a misfire ,its more like somethings stuck then it frees off and its fine its only very brief but it makes it not very nice to drive slow ,i did check the fault codes a while back and ther were a few boost faults ,i am actually a mechanic or i was im now out of the trade so i am going to look into it and im gonna fix it myself but before i get stuck in i was wondering if anyone had any tips ,ideas or similar problems

Look into the vacuum unit that operates the flaps in the inlet manifold. It's an easy fix, it has a diaphragm in it and they split. About £15 from tps.
You can eliminate it to test by clamping the pipe.
If it is this you need to remove the inlet manifold, easy enough. Have about 3 cans of choke cleaner handy to de -gunk it all.

Hi mate thanks for the reply that was on my list of "to do's" i think i will order that and do that first and see how it goes ,as i was gonna give the inlet manifold a clean anyway ,thanks again for your help

Hi just to update my progress with my stutter on light on off throttle, i carryed out the work suggested by m707 ,removed the inlet manifold and checked and cleaned out the inlet flaps and fitted new vacum actuator and new gasket and refitted ,and im pleased to say its fixed the problem now runs sweet ,so thanks for the help
