Avant boot lid can you adjust latch?

Our Avant boot lid needs a good firm push shut to latch and lock, I don't like slamming the boot lid as thats why lots of B8's have LED's out in the rear boot clusters.

Has anyone successfully adjusted so you don't need to slam the boot or know if you can?

I've done the obvious of lubricating and cleaning.
