hi everyone,
Having a major mare with the missus car. Got a generic code of P0321 coming up. Have changed the crank and cam sensors and the ignition coils but it’s still coming up
The car is hesitating on acceleration but idles fine on tick over. Had the sensors that we changed checked out and they’re working fine.
Anyone got any ideas and would VCDS help to diagnose the problem further?
Car is an Audi A4 1.8T cabrio BFB engine.

Thank you

Check your vcd's cable is up to date should be 18.9

You say you replaced sensors. Which sensors have been replaced?
Did you do any troubleshooting of the wiring?
Did you run a VAG diagnostic scan that might give more information?

The fault code leads to an issue with the crank sensor or the crank shaft speed signal. Obviously the signal is present but the car is not running correctly and the timing being sent by the crank signal is indicating that the engine is not running correctly. No duh!

Without more information, it's gonna be hard to run this down. Perhaps the fuel trims may give a clue. You look at the trims and see where they are.
