Haldex controller repair or replace ?

ive had and esp light come up on the dash and lost all drive to the rear wheels, I'm starting to think it must be the haldex controller, I've checked all the connections which look fine! Anyone had any experience with getting them repaired, there's a place I found which claims to fix them for £159, or any one got one i could buy or at least plug in to see if it makes any difference ? Change the haldex oil and filter as well.

Have you got any error codes? It is more likely to be the haldex pump clogging up because the filter wasn’t changed, this prevents the haldex working and resorts to fwd only.
