Was reading today about the FL TTRS being available to order by April. Same power so no worries with WLTP.
Not that it needs it but its a shame that a facelift has the same power as the PFL.

I was concerned that with WLTP and new filters that it might have been less. Not that it needs it but its a shame that a facelift has the same power as the PFL.
This must be a build batch they have leftover, perhaps due to the WLTP emissions issue delaying planned build numbers.
Still amazed they're doing this considering the new platform is supposed to be out end of the year.
If this is the case it could also mean a considerable gap till the next model RS3 is out....
This is not a leftover batch, it’s just the my19 rs3. As I’ve been saying for a while. They will not open order books and go through the hassle of wltp just to shift a few left over rs3’s![]()

To elaborate, no individual colours will be available to order for a long time potentially upto 2 years. Audi are however extending the amount of coulours avaialble to order as standard including Porsche Riviera Blue as a colour. The configurator will show the new MY19 spec car and will of course have a price change to refelct. This means the car will potentially have a few more toys as standard, no idea what packages will be available or if they have changed.

I like the new winglets on the spoiler. The rear bumper is the same except for the those stupid fake plastic vents! The front is similar but I think I prefer the PFL. It's very similar though. Interior is identical as is the engine. I'll be sticking with what I've got!Looks sexy though

No. .. Mate better things to do with my money. . Atm... Besides.l have a Carlsberg S3.. .. honestly l have heard this same old crap= No Audi Exclusive paint colours available to order!! time and time again it was the same guff l heard mouths before l ordred my car pinch of salt, the only reason Audi will delay the availability of exclusive paints is because of the forthcoming all new car and not for any other reason .... And if Porsche Riviera Blue is available to order as a standard paint option I'll eat my right *******Tempted @jassyo06 ?![]()

Turbo Blue but this colour so far is only for face lifted cars and new modelsI think it's turbo blue rather than Porsche riviera blue.
I think it's turbo blue rather than Porsche riviera blue.
Whichever blue it is its a lot more appealing to me than the currently offered Ara blue...
What will be interesting to see / hear is whether the ECU is locked down like it is in the RS4 ergo no more tuning options.I like the new winglets on the spoiler. Can they still not hack in to the RS4 ECU?What will be interesting to see / hear is whether the ECU is locked down like it is in the RS4 ergo no more tuning options.
TX.
Nope, triple encrypted as is the S4. "Lesser" models aren't locked down thoughCan they still not hack in to the RS4 ECU?
Looks fantastic but I've never had the bottle to buy a red car !

I'm still amazed they've bothered putting the RS3 back on the market.
I think its because there's more and more demand for it. Like right now there's only 22 RS3 Saloons for sale on Used Audi Cars website and quite a few of them are over a year old now with over 10k miles.
It seems sure that they are selling the RS3 in the UK again. Pleased for those wanting to buy. Although the less RS cars about, the better for us current ownersGood for those who missed the boat before, but honestly I’ll believe it when I see the cars coming into the country.
How strange it is to be on the other side looking in, I know what the rest of you felt like now![]()
My guess is because of WLTP sales have been down thousands and thousands of units. So if they have a car that can be sold straight away then they need to start making money. RS cars will be maximum profit opportunity as they won’t discount them. But going by history, RS were never in large quantities and were only produced at the very end of a run for shorter periods of time... it’s only recently as Audi have made a dedicated Audi Sport company that they seem to be pushing them more.
I’m not sure what previous Audi’s were like, but my identication stickers in the car read that it came from Audi Sport not just Audi.

When I was at Audi t'other day.Or a yellow car for that fact, and the can look real good.

Plenty of dealers and people on here in the know seem to think it's the case. Facelift TTRS also ready to order from April so engine is obviously compliant. Just seems a bit odd so late in the model cycle.what source is this from mate ?
My Dealer rang me this week and made no referece to the RS3 being avaialable to order and 'at best' he hoped they would be available later this year ?

Almost as if they are clueless @Snake Pliskinstrange it is not common knowledge to all Dealers then, as my Dealer has been hounding me to change and had no idea when the RS3 would be re-introduced for sale![]()

It would be easy for Audi to give the TT-RS more power. But it's already almost as quick as the R8. So upping the power will make it a lot of R8 owners very angry. Why buy an R8 when the TT is faster, and half the price?
