Afternoon all,
Not been here for a wee while hope you are all well!!
Anyway I have 14 reg S3 and having a couple issues with the speakers.
I have the *** and for a while I was getting a crackle from what seemed to be the rear of the car. When I went into the boot I could hear that it was coming from the sub, I unplugged it and left it out for a while then plugged back in and seemed to be ok but then few months later did the same so i repeated the unplug etc.. for the now its ok but wonder if I need a new sub?
The next issue I am having is I jump in the car start up and start driving. 5 mins later the centre speaker (i think) starts hissing/crackling and this can last from 5mins to 20mins. It stops if i mute the sound but straight away comes back on when un-mute. Is it easy enough to replace this speaker or has anyone had similar issues and it wasn't actually the centre speaker? Might be the treble speakers front left & right? It does sound like the centre though.
Anyway any advice is appreciated, thanks for reading.
Andy
