Hello first time post.
My Audi has came up with another EGR value fault. This would be the 3rd EGR value to fail after the so called "Emission Scandal Fix". I'm a heavy mileage user about 40k a year. Getting about 15k between each EGR fault. Sometimes the garage cleans them and it seems to go on for a while, but they all fail at some point.
However this time its outside the warranty because its been two years. Its not causing an issue this time round from the car running but it has a engine management light on. Which I now believe is an MOT fail.
Is there anyway around this? Can I buy a better aftermarket EGR or rollback the update? Or could a Remap increase the reliability of this part?
I'm open to anything at this point. I was hoping to get at least 200k out of this car.
