A6/S6/Allroad (C8 Chassis) Picture Thread

It is daytona grey, my 4th in a row!

You can actually get a shorter legal plate, which I had on my A7 but it looked weird, so I asked them to put an inch either side to make it a bit bigger

The front bumper does have a recess in the slats for the plate - also my bumper has been drilled previously so if i went short there would be visible holes!

I have answered in the other thread. It has aditional compressor. I have suspension with damper control, called wrongly by some people air suspension. It is lower like every s line and got damper control with very noticable difference between settings

Beauty. I hope they made them better and service them better in NL then over here. My engine blow at 60k miles. £27.5k bill but I did not pay - got my money back for the car

Well acord to Audi diagnosis injector fault, stuck open and hydrolock the cylinder causing con rode bend etc….

I know and everyone know is the long life service schedule, lack of oil changes and low oil pressure due to emission restriction. DPF clogged due to wrong gear changing point aswell. Not many people know that with normal driving even on motorway with this gearbox dpf will not automatically clean himself as there is no enough rpm for that. Even at 100 mph in Germany not enough on higher gear. Most of them 3.0 tdi suffer from bad design except Bi Tdi.

Did you know that some Audi interval for air filter like in my A4 now are 60k miles ? 96k km on 1 air filter ???

These new engines are ticking bombs !

I lost about £5k on this expierence but we all learn from mistakes.

feel for you mate, mines hitting 50k now hope i don't get any issues i love the car but interior rattles, annoying i've sorted it but shouldn't have 2 doo this on a car like this!
heard lots of stories on 3.0tdi !!

Keep changing oil every 10k miles, make sure dpf is clean by using manual driving with enough rpm to do re gen. There are special OBD devices when you will find out when and where the car is doing re gen then lock him in 4th and drive around straight with min 2100 rpm. Don’t use main dealer for services as in most cases they not changing the oil at all.

Use engine flush and some ceramic coating like Liqui Moly.
Thanks
