Audi A3 Sport to S Line Rear Bumper/Diffuser Swap

I've got a 3 door 2006 A3 2.0TDI Sport.

So my rear end currently looks like this (sh*t)

I've seen for a sale a 2008 S Line Rear Valance for sale...

Will this fit, and if so what modifications (if any) are needed?

Looking at those photos, it looks like your bumper is one entire piece and doesn't have a removable area where that diffuser would fit.

Would defo have to agree with @Daveyonthemove , firstly i thought that was covers for screws between valance and bumper but on a closer look it does look like one whole bumper but i would think you could put a younger bumper + valance from an 8p onto yours , check wiki about the date when 8l changed to 8p that rwould give you a good idea.
I have lovely updated rear lights that would look nice on your car there just plug n play , pm if interested

There is a clear line that goes all the way round the bumper that is around the height where the s line valance would go. I haven't got underneath the car yet (car is too low ), but I'm assuming this part will be clipped/screwed on somehow and then maybe be removed? Just want to know if I take it off, whether the s line would be the same size or whether it may be slightly wider etc.

Feel around where the line is and see if there is any screws clips if yes and it comes apart you should be able to put any 8p valance on , as far as i know the 8p is interchangeable but i am sure someone wont be far behind to confirm this .

From that angle it does look removable.
I have no idea how it comes off though, I need to remove the one from my pre-facelift S3 and it's moulded into the bumper

On the two piece bumper the bottom valance and diffuser section unclips. There are two screws underneath at the bottom of the diffuser and then clips around the valance where it attaches to the bumper. For an S3 look, on the three door the valance and diffuser comes as one and the part number is 8P3807434G. On the sportback the valance is a seperate part (8P4807521k) and the diffuser clips on to that (8P4807434G).

Incidentally, I have a brand new S3 valance and diffuser for the 3 door For Sale, bought from Audi....
