3.0Tdi oil change

1st oil change in my ownership, no issues except quite clattery on first start up.
I'm assuming this is the chain tensioners starved of oil for a few seconds.
I take it there's no purge procedure I missed?

I’ve changed mine a few times in my 3.0tdi and I’ve just done it the same as any other car
