Hi 'all

placed an order on rs3 in panther black but because of emission tests etc couldn't get a production time
wait could be as long as next year june . So decided to get a good deal on an rs3 sedan in nardo which is highly
optioned and just arrived from germany. I wasn't a fan of nardo initially but in person with black pack and rotor wheels it just looked really good .

Excited for friday ......
any do's and don't for a new rs3 soon as i get it ?

Do's - get the windows down in dynamic and find an underground car park or tunnel and give it full throttle.

Don't - put the windows back up.

Do’s - Get an Active Valve controller
Makes it louder lower in rev range and you don’t get the rattle on start up.......

Can't go far wrong from there on in, simples.

Or stage1 and valves always open in Dynamic

The reason I no longer needed my AVC, with stg1 the car has improved sound especially in dynamic
(and no start rattle)

do's put a milltek highflow cat and downpipe on makes it sound insane also put H&R lowring springs on to make it look alittle meaner
dont.. if you have mag ride dont put coilovers on it, a friend made this rookie mistake and has ruined the car

They got a nice panther black rs3 saloon in stoke audi with huge spec and was giving big money off it

What would you say the benefit of this device over the blanking plugs is mate?
You can control the exhaust valves from a button remote. Open them or close them to suit your driving and starting up circumstances. The valve plugs that I have mean that the valves are permanently open.

Yeah i know that's the difference in product lol, I just wondering the benefits I guess mate.
I would assume most people buy them because they want more noise so the valves open, which you can do with either product.
The only extra benefit I can see is that you can have them closed on start up then open all the time driving. So it just seems you're paying over £350 extra on top of the blanking plugs just to be able to start up without the noise? or am I missing something?

Yep you can start up with valves shut or open
If the drone becomes too much then a simple tap of a button and you can shut the valves whilst on the move.

Total can bus integration never know it’s there.

I bought the 4 delete plugs and hated them.

This I like a lot as I have full control.

As you say though it doesn’t come cheap brand new

I was lucky though got it through another owner.

Would I pay full whack to be honest prolly not but it is what it is.

Your better off with the MSS adjustable spring kits. You have the same benefit of coil overs but for less and works great with magride. Just ask any other owners with these fitted. Never been a bad word about them. H&R can be quite rough but I guess you get what you pay for

well basically each shock is £900 also with coilovers you only have 1 ride comfort which is hard constantly, if you have lowering springs they have been made for the mag ride so you still get the choices of different ride comfort also what the above said with the MSS adjustable springs you can chose ride height and still have the comfort option mag ride is awesome, it makes your car level when cornering hard which improve handling its a really good system so why get rid of it..

iv just seen this coilovers you've been looking at now they are special but very expensive and the shocks do have the mag ride very nice, if you can afford them go for it..
