Those pics look like standard magazine Photoshops and not the real deal.
I guess I was wrong and they are real. I usually ignore magazines regarding new models before release as they seem happy to invent how they look.

I also don’t like the stuck on iPhone on A4 and A5. As Goldilocks would say, the A3 is just right.
To get all the toys is going to cost a few quid ... It's the Audi way of things as you knowLike the exterior a lot, it looks 'grown up unfortunately the interior, particularly around the drivers screen looks it's been designed by a star trek can. To get all the toys it's going to cost a few quid.
They won't do this, such is the car industry now its getting more and more like a TV shop inside premium cars now . ...Seams like every new car is getting this look now. New Fiesta, New Megane etc. Look ridiculous to me.
But I guess, they have to pander to the new breed of car buyers. The Millennial's who want all these touch screens and everything configurable. 7 throttle maps, 10 gearbox settings, 5 steering setting etc. Drives me up the wall.
Build a sporty car, make it sporty from the outset, and ditch all the ****** settings.

Fair play to Audi they have tried to jazz it up on the exterior/interior .. . It will sell big time but this trend for dull grey paints is really pushing the limits of blandness

Virtual Cockpit technology package.... £1200 easily
Ah.... I see, so still £1200 for the technology package lol there's always a catch mate always lolVirtual Cockpit will be standard, the entry level models just get a smaller touchscreen compared to the higher end models.

That I don't doubt lol
Just hope you can spec B&O separate to advanced key! They seem to want to make you have the comfort and sound pack now to get B&O but I'm quite happy using the key!
Keyless was a separate option when l configured my car mate, the comfort and sound pack wasn't a option on a Black Edition S3That I don't doubt lol

nothing within the current nor next range of Audi A1/A3 to tempt me out of my 4yr old S3, imo just change for changes sake (but i do get the reasons why Audi do it).
mine still goes fine, costs nowt to run and looks as good as the day I got it (other than the broken grill a la wild boar strike).
maybe an RS1 i guess but would have to be both manual and 3 door
already looked at RS4 (not value for money imo), new RS5 looks like somebody sat on the front........
No gurantee I’ll like it all, my plan has always been once this PCP comes to an end I’m more than likely to pick up something used as my mileage has dropped from over 15k a year to 5k now.How do you know you'll like the all new A3.... I have just watched a video of All new A1 top specced cars, one was the fully loaded launch edition and not a LOOKER at all and build quality is lower as well, the current A1 is high on build quality and didn't share any interior plastics with seat and skoda... . Again cost cutting but charging big bucks by Audi expect the same with the new A3 car, lower build quality but with fancier touchscreen ergonomics and sharing interior plastic with other vag brands, l noticed the slight drop in build quality between my PFL and my current car ie column stalks steering wheel, removal of Global opening of the pano-roof and most of all the starting price of my current car was the exact same price of my nicely specced S3 sportback 3 years ago, so expect all the desirable new A3 models to hit the higher VED .. . As others have said No discounts at all for at least the first 8 months of production
Hybrid power is minimum a 48v rechargeable battery that can run the lighting systems etc etc, it's not performance oriented
That doesn’t look too bad but it does look a tad like a DS3. Can see the central screen being distracting.Think it will be available to order later this year mate October /November
The A3/S3 still looks very fresh indeed, and for that very reason l think the new car won't be oNo gurantee I’ll like it all, my plan has always been once this PCP comes to an end I’m more than likely to pick up something used as my mileage has dropped from over 15k a year to 5k now.
List for me
2006 - 2009 Boxster S
2012 ish S5
2016 - GTI
Almost new MX5
I really don’t like the look of the new A7, it looks over complicated even though it’s intended to be the opposite. No doubt the next 3 will take aspects from that.
I will change my mind over and over before I do take the plunge but the above are the ones which keep coming back to me.
Back to the OP if you could get a very good deal on a facelift I’d take it, whilst the latest gen has its flaws it is still a very good package and still looks pretty current.
£29060 4 years ago. . 3years ago my S3 sportback started at £34000, l presume yours was a 3 door manual car?I seriously think premium brands are losing the plot.......or relying on people's desires to have premium brands.
The new A1 looks fussy, interior coloured body paint wtf and STARTING at >18k. My 4yr old S3 was £29.6k new with just under 3k of options, i am not thinking of changing but i kid you not a new Fiesta ST would cross my mind, back to simple fun behind the wheel for sensible money. New tech is fine however it is being used as a cash cow for the manufacturers.
Rant over, back to sleep.
I bought my previous car on the very first day it officially went on sale.....I couldn't wait a year.Never buy a Audi or any car in its first year of production why... Price = lack of discount and spec
Saw them on a Lexus yesterday that was awful looking, thought it was a Kia (no disrespect to Kia owners out thereYep, I've seen them on a lorry, a Range Rover, Peugeot have them on the front so does the Citroen DS3. I'm sure there's more.
)MOST PROBABLY!It is quite simple at the moment with post April 17 cars - below 40 grand list price or above 40 grand.
Is our government planning on moving the goal posts again regarding VED?

Worth a chat, as you should be in + equity if ending in Sept 19, unless it was a 24 month PCP that isSome compelling arguments to bag an FL Black Edition or even S3 here. My PCP isn’t up till September 2019 so I may be in negative equity but I’ll have a chat as I’m in for the MOT soon anyway. If the price is right I might be tempted. If the new Golf isn’t in production until next June then the new A3 might not be available next September when I need to change - especially if there’s a waiting list. Decisions decisions.

I wouldn't necessarily say that....my car before that had been on sale for 10 months before I bought it.^^ manufacturers must love you![]()

Full list price absolutely no discounts.....but if you wanted one you just had to pay it. Spec wasn't a problem....there was only 2 models - one without toys and one with at 2 grand extra...no options list which was quite refreshing.
It was 6 months before I seen another one on the road.![]()

Guessing this is the CTR you now got rid of? Just spend a bit of time around Slough and there are bagillions all parked in the big H car park.
48 month PCP. Bang on with the mileage. Immaculate inside and out. 23k on the clock, 65 plate S-Line with S-Tronic. TBH I’d probably buy it at the end of the PCP if it wasn’t for being solid black and a 3 door. Daytona 5 door (or saloon) next time!

this is interesting (in terms of the next S3 & RS3).
Audi will be closely looking at what Merc do, so the next gen S3 (which is what I am anticipating getting next) should be a good package, more so with Merc doing an A35 which will be a direct rival to the S3 - so more competition for the S3 ...

Abomination ..................end of.....a #*#*#* has better taste in caravan interiors...................
I might just wait right up to the model update and get one of the last outgoings, after all, all the "niggles" should have been tweaked out and we will probably get a few extras as standard.
Ha ha lol ... I nearly forgot you detest Mercs![]()
True pal, once did it with the outgoing "bubble" shape Focus, you know Colin McCrae/Sainz shape, last one in the showroom before the fugly square shape one came out.Makes a lot of sense that does mate and to be Frank....a know...am not...l am James...lol but l wouldnt chop my current car in for any....run of the mill All new S3.....whatever its tech it has....tech does'nt do it for me at all, looks matter more...Audi are now all about Tech...
I think Mercs are great,,,, oh wait,, sorry the ones I like are the ones on my sons "Call Of Duty" game, mercenaries with loads of ammo lolHa ha lol ... I nearly forgot you detest Mercs![]()
