New to the group so go easy on me
Finally got an A3 in March after years of wanting one! 8pa 1.6fsi sport, very tidy car and real happy with it (although a little slow). Got my first ever check engine light in 10 years of driving over the weekend, finally a chance to use my obd scanner. Got a stored code p2206 nox sensor heater control circuit low bank 1, and a pending code p0420 catalyst system effiency below threshold, I guess the pending code is being caused by the nox sensor not working properly and would probably clear once the sensors been changed? My question regarding the sensor, I’m unable to find one on europarts or other online parts shops, all I can find are lambda sensors, although I did find a “nox/lambda sensor” on eBay, are nox and lambda sensors the same thing? I’m pretty mechanically capable and have done all my own car work over the years but I’ve never had a problem with emissions parts before so I’m pretty unfamiliar with the part names.
