Been away a while but now the sun is out am about to embark on the conversion of our A4 1.8t B7 Cabriolet into a Quattro courtesy of a recently purchased B6 1.8T donor car.
Wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of diff/transmission upgrade specialists as the donor car has covered 95k so will use the opportunity to refurbish the transmission before swapping it over and releasing the rebuilt engine upon it.
Also any pointers on the set up appreciated as I am unfamiliar with any pitfalls associated with the B6 transmission.
Understand most existing suspension and brake mods on the B7 FWD will not migrate to the Quattro so they'll be some nearly new Bilstein B12s, Eibach springs available soon.
