After disconnecting the battery to replace the fuel pump months ago, the keyfob still works but after locking the car the alarm will go off beeping, then to flashing and then repeat this cycle several times. It is frustrating to the point we want to either leave the car unlocked or disconnect the horn to the alarm. Surely there must be an easy fix? Solutions?
One of the sensors is telling the alarm unit that it has been triggered and the alarm needs to sound or the alarm isn't setting correctly meaning the alarm unit might be faulty. Is it a factory or aftermarket alarm system. I am not an alarm expert to be clear.
