My perpetual nightmare is Vodafone, I moved this month, so moved my broadband with me, it got turned off 2 weeks early, with no warning, so called them up spoke to someone who give me some bs about needing to turn it off at that address to make sure they can turn it on at the new address... ok so an extra 50gb of data to my mobile so it's not affected...

Now today's the day it was supposed to be turned on, lo and behold it's not been! So call up again... I've been on hold at work for more than an hour! I'm livid!

Doesn't help I've always had problems with them every single time that I have tried to change anything on my account, it takes 4 or 5 attempts to actually get it right! And then it's usually me jumping up and down at the end of the phone raging at the people for making promises and not delivering!

They are Mo Fos, trust me you are not alone in it with them I am sure there will be otherwise too. I switched my mobile over to O2 last year (Feb 17) after my contract finished with them. Their argument I left outside of the cooling off period, which I didn't. They charged me £618 in early termination fee for two numbers I had with them. To cut it short, it was settled and I was reimbursed the money. Checked my credit history a month ago and to my horror I am 'defaulted' and guess by whom - you are right; Vodafone.

So, had a chat and then called the helpline and went through the whole thing again. I was told you don't owe us anything by the chat guy and the lady over the phone said; 'take your bank statements to nearest store, they will leave a note of the transactions and we'll reverse everything'. So, did that and called them after a week to check the progress and get an update on the 'all clear letter I was promised'. Reply I get, "our systems were down so your request wasn't processed. We'll do it now and will call you in two weeks to give you an update'. It will be two weeks tomorrow so, if they don't call I am. I have proofs of all the chats and reference to conversations I had with them. Fingers crossed!

I feel your pain with this. Sorry to dreg up an old post btw, but I’ve just found this section.

I renewed my mobile a while back with Vodafone. They put me on the wrong plan, then when they moved me onto the right plan, they billed me for both for months & months. Took me 8 months of calls, broken promises, outright lies & more calls. Looked it up and there was loads of people online that they’d done it to. I guess if you bill enough people £80 per month too much for enough months, the interest on the extra money would make Vodafone a fortune. Call me suspicious, but.....,
