Hi guys,

Yestyerday I went to Monza circuit and i can definitely confirm that the stock brakes are very bad. After just one "fast" lap, they gave up and two slow laps were needed for cool down.
Someone says that yellow pagid pads + goodridge brake lines + specific fluid are sufficent to solve this but i'm not sure is enough...
in the whole story, the disks seem the last of the problems...

6 pistons Brembo would be the best choice :tongueclosed:

Does someone have expirience about?

Thanks in advance!

I'd be looking at Stoptech or Revo (Alcon) if I were considering this but you're right 6 pots would be more than adequate.

at the end... i chose these!

I vent with vagbremtechnic 362mm disc and TTRS 4pot caliper and ferodo DS2500 pads.

Was at the track on Saturday. This is a kit that works. No over heating nor bad pedal feel.
I also have attached a temperature sticker to check the max temp. It hardly moved

I have the slotted disc. This is not my car but the same setup..

good! did you need spacers for the wheels?

I have a Golf R mk7 with the stock 19" Pretoria.
I was told that I needed 3mm spacers but that gave me a small rubb.
4-5mm was perfect. I ended up using 10mm spacers since I had it laying around...

Put a spacer here in Italy is VERY dangerous for your vehicle registration certificate... And honestly I don't want to risk. I'll try to put it on my 19 v spoke but if they don't fit I don't know what I'll do :(

Loads of room :grinning:

Custom kit.. a local dealer here in italy made these on my request.

Cool. Any information on the caliper and disc size and type?

Did you need to use spacers?

Calipers are made for Maserati and are "slim" size.. Discs are one-piece 370mm no brand.

Someone told me that spacers is better with that little space but a lot of people also told me that is more than enough. So I'll put them without. Also because probably I'll buy another 19 wheel set, with more offset.
