Ticking sound from engine

Hi there

I've currently got a ticking sound coming from my 2005 A4 2.0tdi, at first i suspected it to be noisy lifters but now im not so sure. Ive done an oil change, also put some wynns lifter treatment in but did not quieten it down. Ive now had a better look and it seems to be coming from underneath the car. Could this possibly be an exhaust leak?

The other thing is you can't hear it until you rev the engine so if it was a lifter I assume the sound would be there at idle also?

Just an update, seems that it was simply a tensioner that's was causing the noise, the garage have put some grease on it as a temporary fix and the noise has gone.

Sounded so much like a tappet noise.
