Hi Folks

I have a 2014 biTdi Allroad 313ps.
I have changed the rear pads ok.
But for the front caliper (I have the 2 piston caliper) my 10mm hex socket is too small and 11mm is too big to remove the slide pins! I have tried 10mm and 11mm alan keys too with the same result.
I don't want to grind my 11mm to suit. They are original audi caliper an have tried to clean out any dirt just to be sure.
Are these somehow Imperial in size sliders and not metric? Or is a special tool required?!
I have seen youtube vids of these being 9mm on some a6, not 9mm on mine!

Pics below...any advise appreciated!

why can't you just remove the whole caliper and support it just like the old days ?
