gents just need best advice on this ticket.

its by PCM who are an accredited operator of ipc

It was given in my car park for where i live, (we display permits in windows )(private land)

i actually lost my permit and literally drew a temporary one, this slid down the front of the window and only the top half a centimetre was visible. so they gave me a ticket for not displaying a permit.

i wrote to them saying that i have a valid permit and I'm entitled to park there but they don't care about this its because i didn't have its clearly displayed.

the letter i got back from them says my appeal is declined i have 14 days to pay £100 or i can appeal this at the independent appeals service, if i do this the option of the reduced fee will be withdrawn.

I've had tickets from lidl's a few times before and just ignored them despite the legal action letters.

should i ignore this or do i even have any grounds to fight this appeal as it is frustrating that I'm entitled to park in this car park.

p.s I'm moving from the address in 3 weeks time anyway.:greyrs4:

I have never paid a parking fine from anyone other then the council, who do actually have legal powers. As far as I'm aware they can't do anything other than send letters to you .

Send them the proof that you are entitled to park there and tell them, if they continue to decline your appeal and pursue the matter, you will have no other option, than to charge them, at the rate of £100.00 per letter, for any further correspondence.

Tried it on with me last year and I got, by return, a very grovelling email saying, "Sorry we bothered you".

They're ar$eholes.

Haha but they dont care if im entitled to park here or not, they only care that i didnt have a permit displayed

If it was in Scotland, I would be having some fun with them, but if you are in England, I would check to make sure they can't impose a charge on you.
As I mentioned earlier, they're ar$eholes, and they are preying on the innocent who make a mistake.
