I am in the market for a 2.5 tdi sport cabriolet and can't for the life of me establish what colours where offered & what options were fitted / cost options.

I rather like the bright blues - but not a big fan of the blue dash option.

Be grateful if anyone can assist including images of your cabs detailing the colour / combination and options, If anyone has an original brochure and are willing to scan it I'd be obliged.

Thanks
JR

Hi JR,

You've come to the right place! :p

Is that your S3 8L ? My mate just bought one last month and loves it.

Ive got a B6 Cabriolet 1.8T Quattro. Light silver with Blue Roof. the interior is half alcantara and half leather. Piano black. Love it.

Unfortunately I dont think I have the original brochure but do know loads of colour combinations;

Light silver with Black Roof
Light silver with Red Roof
Light silver with Blue Roof

Gun metal Grey with Black Roof
Gun metal Grey with Red Roof

Nogaro blue or Sepang Blue (not sure the difference but its a lighter shade of blue with black roof
Nogaro blue or Sepang Blue with blue roof

Ming blue with black roof
Ming blue with blue roof

Light blue (sky blue) with black roof
Light blue with blue roof

Red with black roof
Red with red roof

Black with black roof

These are all the ones I can think of so far. Pretty much covers it I believe.

Dan.

Mine is silver with blue roof and also blue interior - dash included.. I can post some pics if you like?

Cheers guys. Some rather smart looking cabs there.

The S3 was mine. Sold it on awhile ago; was a track day project that I never got on the track. lol.

One thing I don't like about the derv is the rear tailpipes (or lack of them) . Ive read that the 1.8t cab cat back system fitted with the cut out rear valance fits straight to the 2.5 tdi. Has anyone done this mod here?

I'm still on the look out. Will update as & when I get my cabriolet!

Black with black roof

I'm offended there, Dan. Mine is not just black with black roof, it is ebony black pearl, with a black roof...

Trying to add photos but they're "too large" to add. Flake pop shot here http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/show-us-your-flake-pop-shots.269150/#post-2727745

Anyway, ebony black pearl, "silver" nappa leather, silver nappa leather door card, black flooring, brushed aluminium trim.

Just watch out for the ones with a white/silver floor. I wouldn't be able to put up with that, and mats look horrid in them.

lol, just the way things go. Life takes over I guess.

With regards to the 1.8T exhaust..hopefully other will confirm but yes I do believe its practically the same. Instead, why dont you 'gut' the 2.5tdi exhaust and get straight angles tailpipes that will fit perfectly onto a purchased dual exit valance. Forget the b6 ones, they are old and dated. Get a straight swap b7 one or the b6 s4 valance. Very nice.

Any help, just let us know.

Oh...apologies sir! I meant black pearlescent roof with all the S4 trimmings (lucky b*stard!)

Having a look at those flaked shots again..man it comes up lovely after the detail. Great colour combo!
