Oily smelling smoke and rattle at low revs?

Hi everyone. My A4 1.9 tdi Quattro has started acting up again. I noticed a rattle at low revs, clears when the accelerator is pressed or when pulling away. Also, there's now quite a lot of oily smelling smoke coming out of the exhausts when accelerating or sitting in traffic. The smell of the fumes have definitely changed. Can anyone assist? Blown turbo maybe.

Thanks Paul. Is there any checks I can do to see if it is indeed the turbo? I have noticed a small pound coin sized pool of oil at the front of the car in the last few days. Could this be related? If it is turbo, where's the best place to get one?
