Context - I have a 2004 v6 3.2 Quattro, its stuck in FWD and the only error code is 0448 - Static fault on the Clutch pump.
I've looked at the control unit and there are holes in the underside, I suspect water could easily have got in and corroded the PSB which makes me inclinded to believe the unit is at fault and not the pump, because....
I've put 12v across the pump and it does spin however I was advised that a resitance reading of around 5-15 Ohms should be expected. Mine however only read as 0.22 Ohms.
Anyone with Electrical knowledge care to hazard a guess at what it means? I've read that if the filter clogs up it can cause an overload in the control unit, but wouldnt a clogged pump increase the resistance, not reduce it?
