Rear Tyre Wear

Guys,

The passenger rear tyre on my audi 1.6fsi sportback has worn right down on the outer edge, tyres are always inflated to the correct pressures, I did bounce off a kerb around three years back while sliding on ice, can the geometry be adjusted on these models ??

Yes, it can.
When I bought my A3 a few months ago and took it for the obligatory tyre alignment check that I always do when purchasing a new-to-me vehicle I was surprised to learn the alignment at the rear was out quite a bit and unlike my A4 that I've had for years the rear IS adjustable, even on FWD vehicles, the A3 rear being virtually the same as the VW Golf rear .

No worries, yes you'll have to fork out for a 4 wheel alignment I'm afraid!
