3 MONTHS WAITING AND IT'S STILL BROKE.

Hi,
How much is a new brake master cylinder fitted for an 2006 Audi A3 2.0 tdi S-Line. The car has just come back from repair after some douche bag put his boat trailer through the drivers side front wing/wheel and boat over the top, all the repairs have been done on the insurance at the moment (£7500 up to now). Took the car out for it's first good drive yesterday and the brake pedal was slow to return after pressing it, sent it back to the garage and the've said the master cylinder is knackerd. I'm hoping the insurance will pay for it, but would like to know what it costs if i have to fork out. Cheers.

Master cylinder is a few hundred quid.

Can't get one down here (same spec and mileage) for less than 11 grand. It's had new wing, bonnet, roof, windscreen, front skirt, alloy/ tyre, washer bottle, roof rails and all new drivers side front suspension.
