Hi all,
I'm thinking of doing a little project which would include a remote tailgate release for my 2007 RS4 Avant - but not using the existing keyfob. The action would be initiated by an Arduino.
Now I'm thinking that if I get a used key, I should be able to use the gubbins out of that connected to the Arduino to trigger the release.
Is it possible to code a used key to do this? Obviously, I'm not interested in it to start the car or deactivate the immobiliser or even lock or unlock.
I've got VCDS so would imagine I'd be using this to code the extra key - is there much chance of me goosing the existing 2 working keys if adding another?
