3.0TDI Emissions light

On my way to work this morning, the yellow emissions (engine symbol) light came on.
Any idea what this could be relating to?
Or is it definitely a case of getting Vagcom on it to check the code?

Yes you need the codes to help understand the issue do you have access to a Vagcom ?

Yes I'm going to see a guy tomorrow about it, hopefully won't be anything too major.

No limp mode, performance is fine.

Could be many things but a common issue seems to be with the intake manifold runner flaps. Fortunately usually fairly easy to fix and not too expensive.

I've just had the code read and it was P0401 - EGR Insufficient Flow

I am sure you have googled it but heres some possibly useful info, when Rick at Unicorn remapped my car the EGR was mapped out and blocked so will never see any of these kinds of issues.

Yes. My car is actually booked in with Rick in a couple of weeks.

I had the EGR mapped out when the remap was performed. Since then no problems at all.

Thanks for replying mate. I think that's the route I'm going to go down. Dpf and egr delete with a remap. Just need to fix this intake manifold runner fault first lol
