You cannot hack the Audi 2G BT to stream music, it was never an option and it's just not in the software to enable it. You need buy something like the Dension Gateway 500 or Audi AMI (MOST fibre optic version)

I'm hoping to add bluetooth audio streaming to my 3g basic mmi, that has oem bluetooth phone calling.

I could be wasting my time, but worth a go for the cost of a cable.
