Hi All,

I have just had the valves cleaned and the PCV & Fuel Follower changed as I was told the old was on its way out.

Since I have had the car back I can hear a faint rattle in the cabin on idle and goes on rev increase. After investigating it seems there is a metallic tinking sound that seems to be emanating from the right of the inlet manifold. Since this is where the fuel pump is I figured this was the new follower making this noise.

Apart from the annoying sound I am slightly worried that this is a sign of something worse to come.

Can anyone tell me if this is just a bed in period noise or a sure sign of something to come please? and if it will go over time?

Any help would be really appreciated as some of the other post that mention this do not give specific details of the cause or fix. If it is a problem then I want to take back to garage who done the work.

As always thank you in advance for your help and advice.
