I have bought myself a damaged Audi TT mk2, on which the crash fuse across the battery has blown!
And I believe someone may have taken off the battery leads before closing the boot/ Very very dead battery.

I have tried pulling on the release cable located in the rear of the car, both seats have been removed, and I have tried charging across the jump posts in the bonnet.

What options are left?
Cutting a gaping hole in the tailgate and buying a new one?
Or something technical like jumping power across the boot release switch etc?

Thanks in advance and I will keep updated!

Is there not jump points under bonnet

There is, but the fuse had gone for the crash sensor. In the end the spoiler was forced up. A hole cut out under the spoiler then the lock released, then weld a plate back in under the spoiler

Well that's one way of getting in there :) . Why did the release cable not work ? . had it been hit in the back and jammed the lock.

Aha, nope frontal crash but the cable had frayed?! possibly from someone trying too hard before me!
