Hi guys hope you're all good, I wonder if anyone can help me out here, my A3 1.8T recently failed it's MOT on emissions - running rich.

I took it to an Audi specialist and they gave me 2 codes and told me to replace the Cat and the pre-cat Lambda sensor.
The original fault codes were:
16514 - oxygen (lambda) sensor B1 S1 P0130 - 35-00 - malfunction in circuit
17511 - Oxygen (lambda) sensor B1 S1 P1103 - 35-00 - performance too low.

I just had the catalytic converter and a new Bosche pre-cat fitted and now I have 4 fault codes, the 1 original fault code + 3 new ones!!!

17511 (same as before)
17513 - O2 Sensor Circuit Heating Circuit (B1-S2) -Short to B+ / or Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S2: Heating Circuit Short to Plus : P1105
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High : P1114
17514 - O2 Sensor Circuit (B2-S1) Voltage Too Low - Air Leak / or Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B2 S1: Voltage too Low / Air Leak : P1106

I'm losing the will to live with all this! could anyone please tell me what to do next??!!

thanks

Just a quick note that may throw some light on it. I have an 8l 1.8 n/a.

Last year (Feb 2015) she failed the MOT due to emission problems, something had happenned around New Year, I hit a raised pedestrian crossing quite fast and something was immiediatley wrong. She still ran but was not giving me the performance or consumption I was used to (mileage dropped from 360ish from a full tank to about 230). It turned out that the wiring from the front and rear Lambda sensors had been dislodged resulting in them melting on the exhuast system blowing and burning out a multitude of other sensors and wiring going through to the ECU. My mechanic had to re-wire and fit new (front and rear lambda) sensors to rectify the issues. When he called me and said it was fixed and through the MOT ready for collecting I was happy but what he handed me back was unbelievable, Sharp, responsive, nimble, agile and solid.

I know it can be frustrating having to eliminate problems so just throwing this out there, just stick your head underneath and see if you got and dislodged/fried wiring?
