Hi guys, I'm usually in the A3 8P section but I need some advice on my brothers 2.0T B8.
It is currently at the audi dealership with the engine out due to it failing the oil consumption test. Audi contacted him this morning regarding a problem with the turbo. The wastage valve looks to have worked its way loose and the washer was found in the cat.
Audi sent a video to explain the problem and they said they needed to fit a new turbo..... Surely, can't the bolt be re-secured otherwise is £1500 for a new turbo. The positive thing is that there would be no labor charges as the engine is already out.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Any help would be much appreciated
