So on the way home today my car was juddering really bad and then I got onto the dual carriageway and all of the sudden I lost power and my engine stalled and the battery light came on but all of the lights and radio was still on. I manage to bump it off quickly whilst it was still rolling and was fine after that but every time I start it on a morning it takes a while to start like around 15 seconds and it idles really bad as if the engine is going to cut out (sometimes the engine does cut out) and when I go to drive it there is no power at all until about 5 minutes after starting it.
This has only recently been happening but before this happened it would take around 15 seconds to start but only when the engine was warm, I have a fault code (P0234) which is the turbo over-boosting, could this cause the starting problems and juddering? The engine has also got a loud ticking noise coming from the nearside of the engine???
The engine has covered 138k miles, I hope someone can help me with this thanks in advance.
